Halfway through the week already? Yay! I’m sure everyone has something in an Aztec print by now, yes? This dress has been my absolute favorite print so far this season. I absolutely love the colors for fall and it can be paired with oh-so-many things. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it matched my Oxblood Croc Pippa — definitely a welcome surprise! It’s always so wonderful when you find another way to accessorize an outfit. How do you usually style your Aztec print pieces?

I’m only slightly obsessed with this dress and blazer. They are both so comfortable and unrestrictive. The asymmetrical layers of the dress offer something unexpected—don’t ya think? I’ve recently found myself wearing the most summer-specific clothing lately. I’m assuming it’s a subconscious, desperate plea for summer to stick around a little while longer! I’ve been loving the warm evenings, spontaneous trips and taking Bella on long walks. I hope your summer has been wonderful. Have a stellar Tuesday!

Weekend Moments: The Holiday Weekend

The long holiday weekend was exactly what we needed! We were able to relax and spend a lot of time together. The heat kept us mostly indoors, but we were able to enjoy fireworks that evening. And by enjoy I mean we attempted to keep our pup from having a heart attack. The poor thing was having the most difficult night. She loved watching the fireworks, but the sounds were just too much!
We were extremely spontaneous on Friday and decided to take a mini road trip to Jackson and Yellowstone. We had been trying to think of nearby places that wouldn’t be over 100 degrees and Wyoming seemed perfect. We were able to get some fresh air, see some wildlife up close and check out Jackson. It was so relaxing and lovely. I highly recommend it as a weekend getaway. Have an awesome week!

Welcome back from the holiday! I hope you had a delightful day filled with family, fireworks and fun. Our day was incredibly relaxing even though it felt like we were melting most of the day. It has been so hot in Utah this week! We began the day with a family breakfast, followed by a mid-afternoon viewing of Independence Day (you can’t go wrong with Jeff Goldblum) and stellar BBQ. The rest of the night we attempted to distract Miss B from all the bangs and pops. This day means so much and I’m extremely grateful I was able to enjoy the day with my family.
This laid back dress was the perfect choice for the day. Completely effortless, but adaptable with some heels. It was also the perfect day for the inaugural use of my anniversary present!
