A Night of Mystery

We truly had such a lovely time at a murder mystery party on Saturday night! We were so grateful for the chance to extend Halloween for one more evening. And I mean really, we got to wear fun costumes, eat great food and spend time with some of our favorites. We didn’t have a strict script, so we more or less improved our way through telling clues in our best accents. It was amazing. 
The game was played throughout dinner, which was so entertaining! Everyone did their best to not choke on their food while we giggled our way through the mystery. If you’ve never attended one of these, you should definitely take it upon yourself to put one together. It was truly hilarious! You can buy the party kit here or here.

Halfway through the week already? Yay! I’m sure everyone has something in an Aztec print by now, yes? This dress has been my absolute favorite print so far this season. I absolutely love the colors for fall and it can be paired with oh-so-many things. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it matched my Oxblood Croc Pippa — definitely a welcome surprise! It’s always so wonderful when you find another way to accessorize an outfit. How do you usually style your Aztec print pieces?

Guys. I love these things. I was compiling a fall fashion wish list – mainly for inspiration – and was so happy when upon further inspection, I noticed an obvious palette. Well, maybe not so much a palette as an overt inclination toward all things preceded by the following adjectives: wine, burgundy, oxblood. I mean, how could I not? Don’t these colors just exemplify fall? As much as I enjoy the ease of a summer wardrobe, it’s so refreshing to get a few new items. So we’ve established that I’m an obvious sucker for these hues, right? Do you have a go-to fall favorite?

Happy Wednesday, friends! I hope it’s been a splendid week so far. I’m sure we’ve all seen (and fallen in love with) the moto trend by now, yes? Well, there are so many different items (clues to the trend’s pervasiveness) and since I’d rather not spend $1500 on a jacket, I found these six stellar picks that are amazing and affordable. They’re all considerably different, but still offer the same structure. The exception – of course – is the mixed media jacket (with the camo). Isn’t that so great?
