I saw this quote on Instagram and thought it would be lovely to share! It’s unbelievably accurate, would you say? Style blogging is obviously reliant upon current trends in fashion, home decor and nearly everything else, but when it comes down to it, there’s no right or wrong opinion. If it makes you happy, wear it. If it makes your day a little bit brighter, display it. Whether it’s perfectly on trend is entirely irrelevant :)  Happy Wednesday!

Happy Thursday everyone! I hope you’re all having a wonderful week. I’ve gathered my favorite products from the J. Crew Fall Catalog and compiled them here! I’m only mildly in love with, well, everything. Did you hear how they announced their newest Style Guide? It was truly brilliant. The trendsetting retailer pinned every single look to a newly created Style Guide board on Pinterest! They posted a few days prior to the items hitting the website giving their Pinterest followers a lead on the rest of the world. Pinners were able to personalize their experience and order the brand’s newest pieces over the phone or email! Fun, right?

I’m really excited about this post and this exciting collaboration between Issa London & Banana Republic. If Issa doesn’t sound familiar to you, think the royal engagement. Are you recalling that stunning, breathtaking wrap dress that Kate donned? Good – because the Duchess has been credited with the recent global success and popularity of this relatively new brand. In less than ten years, Issa is now a favorite among celebrities and working women throughout the world.
Recently, their collaboration with Banana Republic was announced, which is quite exciting! The price points are typical of what you’d see in the chain retailer, but the pieces maintain the distinctive, timeless appeal of the Issa London style. I’m only slightly obsessed with this dress and blazer. They are both so comfortable and unrestrictive. The asymmetrical layers of the dress offer something unexpected—don’t ya think? I’ve recently found myself wearing the most summer-specific clothing lately. I’m assuming it’s a subconscious, desperate plea for summer to stick around a little while longer! I’ve been loving the warm evenings, spontaneous trips and taking Bella on long walks. I hope your summer has been wonderful. Have a stellar Tuesday!
