A Little Bit of MK for Your Wednesday

Blazer || Tank || Necklace || Bag || Leggings || Boots

Happy Wednesday, friends! Sorry for the brief hiatus, but it sure was nice! Details of our trip tomorrow! I’ve recently been in love with this Michael Kors bag and thought I’d share this outfit inspiration that I created with it in mind. Leggings and sleek boots (with eye-catching hardware) make up my usual fall and winter uniform. Paired with a breezy tank and a fitted blazer, it transitions perfectly from the office to post-work shopping trips. And aren’t those MK boots to die for?! I’m hoping I’ll see them (and that must-have bag) under the tree in a few weeks…any takers as the generous gift-giver?

Navy & Pearls

Bag: Modalu

Welcome back from the holiday! I hope you had a delightful day filled with family, fireworks and fun. Our day was incredibly relaxing even though it felt like we were melting most of the day. It has been so hot in Utah this week! We began the day with a family breakfast, followed by a mid-afternoon viewing of Independence Day (you can’t go wrong with Jeff Goldblum) and stellar BBQ. The rest of the night we attempted to distract Miss B from all the bangs and pops. This day means so much and I’m extremely grateful I was able to enjoy the day with my family.
This laid back dress was the perfect choice for the day. Completely effortless, but adaptable with some heels. It was also the perfect day for the inaugural use of my anniversary present! As always, Modalu has created a convenient, stylish bag. There are several colors on sale right now by the way! Isn’t that great news? Check out the Modalu site!

Longchamp Love

Bag: Longchamp via Nordstrom || Nails: Face Stockholm via J. Crew (similar)

I really can’t tell just how much I love my Longchamp bags. The medium shoulder tote is the most convenient as a beach bag, shopping bag and just about everything else! The color of this bag makes it such a great spring to summer transition piece, which is always a good thing. Long live Longchamp! :)

Styled: The Bride

Veil: Alta Moda || Tiara: Ivory & Co via The Tailor’s Cat
Heels: Rupert Sanderson “Decor” via Brown’s London

The Dress – Monique Lluillier
My wedding dress was completely easy to pick. I found what I wanted on Monique’s website, called the only boutique that carried her designs and they took care of the rest! The skirt was ordered and as soon as I arrived from London, we began the fittings! I designed the bodice, which was then created just for me!

The Tiara – Ivory & Co.
I knew I wanted a tiara since the day I saw Sleeping Beauty. But, really. While I was studying at Cambridge, my best friend and I happened upon The Tailor’s Cat. It was a delightful wedding boutique in the center of the city. We immediately fell in love with all the Swarovski encrusted tiaras. How could you not?
Three years later I was back in London and newly engaged. I knew I had to be crowned à la Kate Middleton. I dragged my friends along for the 45 minutes journey and found the perfect finishing touch! Each tiara has a great assortment of faceted Swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls and are 14k gold.

The Shoes – Rupert Sanderson
I began my dress shopping in London and knew a trip to Brown’s would be beneficial. I immediately fell in love with my gorgeous heels and the color was perfect. I’ve never had more comfortable heels. Highly recommended.
