If you’re like me, you’re already excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Getting geared up for Thanksgiving makes a bit more sense at this point, but I’m one of those people who listens to Christmas music at the first glimpse of snow on our mountains. Some of my friends (you know who you are) call me a Thanksgiving Hater, but I don’t even mind. If I can squeeze even two extra weeks out of this holiday season, I’m on board! I’ve already done my best to incorporate something sparkly, gold or red in every outfit, which inspired today’s wish list look. In looking for holiday party looks, I tend to stick with black as a base and layer accordingly depending on the dress code of the event. Adding a colorful top or chandelier earrings is usually inexpensive, but can add so much! What’s your favorite part of dressing up for the holidays?



Weekend Digest: The Vegas Fun Fest

Welcome back from the weekend! I hope it was marvelous. We had another jam-packed weekend, which led to Monday exhaustion. It was surely worth it though!
We left work a bit early on Friday for appointments, then we headed out to Vegas immediately after. Our friends were celebrating a birthday and we were excited to join the surprise. Once we arrived, we drove straight to Grimaldi’s for our favorite pepperoni and mushroom pizza. It definitely starts the weekend out right. Yum.
Saturday morning was spent at the Cafe Bellagio for one of my favorite breakfasts: buttermilk pancakes. They are truly spectacular. Fluffy and dusted with powdered sugar. If you hate pancakes, try the egg white lobster omelet. Fantastic.
The rest of our time was spent shopping and making a stop at a driving range for my patient husband. It was his only request and after six hours of mall time, it was the least I could do, right? I hit a few, but mostly took pictures of palm trees, the moon and myself. It made the experience much more fun!
After all that, we were so happy to return home to our favorite dog! She was so excited to see us! I was a bit more excited :)

Happy Wednesday, friends! Sorry for the brief hiatus, but it sure was nice! Details of our trip tomorrow! I’ve recently been in love with this Michael Kors bag and thought I’d share this outfit inspiration that I created with it in mind. Leggings and sleek boots (with eye-catching hardware) make up my usual fall and winter uniform. Paired with a breezy tank and a fitted blazer, it transitions perfectly from the office to post-work shopping trips. And aren’t those MK boots to die for?! I’m hoping I’ll see them (and that must-have bag) under the tree in a few weeks…any takers as the generous gift-giver?
