Our Vegas routine is pretty set—and by that I mean, we do the same things every time. That sounds like it’d get boring, but it really doesn’t! We head to Vegas primarily for Grimaldi’s because who wouldn’t take advantage? We generally leave mid-day Friday and arrive just in time for dinner. It’s always magical. We also sometimes starve ourselves for a few hours beforehand. You really can’t be filling up on gas station snacks with a large pepperoni and mushroom waitin’.

After dinner, we check-in then head out to one of the malls to browse. Ideally, we can ditch the husbands because they’re usually saying unhelpful things like, “Is that a need or want?” “If you really love it, then get it…” After a few hours of exercising our bank accounts, we grab a quick treat and settle in for the night. Fun fact? I bought the most amazing fox socks at Topshop. You need them. Saturday is reserved for Shake Shack, the pool and even more shopping! We end the day with a fun dinner and late-night swim.

Sunday is always the saddest day. We like to get home in time to wind down before the work week, so we leave around 1. After sleeping in, that really only leaves time for another trip to Grimaldi’s. Because we truly love it that much.

I’m constantly asking myself if something is a want, need or obvious MUST-HAVE, so I thought this was a totally appropriate title! Obviously, compared to shelter and water, everything is a want, but there are certain things that would just be delightful to carry out of your favorite store. I mean, this stunning Hermes is clearly a need want…but my goodness. If there was ever a more perfect item to add to a wish list! Once I snapped myself out of my daydream, I thought about more practical wishes: YSL lip gloss in five different shades, a vegan leather tote for fall, and an affordable contour kit.

Happy Thursday! I’ve been seeing tons of posts about today being the first day of school—I can’t believe the summer is officially over for all your little people! Even though I miss school, it’s nice to not have a specific date that basically ends summer. I’m getting a bit antsy for fall dressing, but we have a couple more weddings before autumn arrives. I’ve exhausted my summer wedding wardrobe and have been on the lookout for something that can be repurposed next year. This dress comes in three colors, including a blue that is stunning. All the supporting pieces are under $90, which is really the greatest news. Topshop heels for $85? I vote yes. Always. The pendant necklace was super intriguing to me and is only $24 (happy dance!).

 We’ve basically been living the past few days in absolute desperation! We can’t believe it’s August and our bucket list didn’t seem to be getting smaller. We’ve been trying to get outside every single day! At the top of every summer to-do list is the Deer Valley Music Festival. We prefer sitting on blankets because really…is there anything more summer-esque? Even though we were only able to make it up once this year, we loved every second.
