Happy Labor Day! I hope this extended weekend has been a fun one so far! My weird back injury flared up again, so we weren’t able to do anything super exciting, but we managed to see a couple of movies and spend time with family. We were hoping for one last road trip before Jack started school again, but we’ll just have to have a fun mid-semester break later.

I was going through the camera and realized that I had never blogged these photos from our trip to Vegas! As you can probably tell, I’m pretty much obsessed with this dress. I truly don’t think there is anything more comfy than a loose-fitting shirt dress (except maybe these sweatpants), which is ideal for a road trip! It fit pretty true to size, but I got the tall for the extra length. Trust me, you need this dress in your life. Gap has been making me so happy with their dress selection lately! And guess what? I’m so very excited to share my favorites from this year’s Nordstrom Clearance Sale! It seems like I was just barely perusing the last sale, doesn’t it? I guess that’s one of the great things about the fashion industry—there are always new items and new markdowns. I’ve honestly been hoping that a few of these things would go on sale (um, hello perfect booties) and I was pleasantly surprised this morning. My favorite part of this sale? Some of the items from the Anniversary Sale are marked down even further. Great news, no?

I spent a few hours (yup, literally) sorting through this marvelous sale and am happy to present my top picks!
