Utah Day Trips: Visiting Goblin Valley

Our trip to Goblin Valley was so much fun! We started out in the morning and arrived just after 1:00. It was an easy, beautiful drive and we were able to have a lot of talking time and sing-along time! We had purchased snacks and water the day before, so we were all set to go before we arrived. Once we arrived, we explored Valley 1 for a little bit before heading out to the Goblin’s Lair. Fair warning: expect a long walk! Well, expect a long walk if it’s really hot—the temperature surely made the mile and a half feel like 12! It was entirely worth the 40 minutes of complaining though. The entrance into the Lair was a fun climb and there was a neat cave once you were inside. The temperature dropped substantially and it was a lovely break!

This was our first view of Goblin Valley! It was totally worth the drive. Such a fun experience and it was obviously made better by the fact that Alan had been here before. Is anyone else a Galaxy Quest fan?!
