The other day Jack said, “Shoes and purses are sort of your thing, right?” Although I feel like that statement is applicable to lots of women, I thought about it and said, “Yes. Shoes and purses never make you self-conscious and never make you feel fat!” Dresses? Yes. Tops? Yes. Jeans/pants? Absolutely. Anytime we go shopping, it’s a guarantee that I won’t get grumpy as long as I’m shopping for shoes and bags. There’s never any frustration or vows to no longer eat cookies when you’re looking at sandals and heels. And since cookies are a life necessity, I’m always going to support accessories and footwear.

Since it’s been wonderfully warm this past week, I’ve been breaking out my spring and summer shoes! I thought I’d share my favorite brands and styles because shoes make me smile Enjoy!

Do you have a special piece of jewelry that was given to you by your grandma, mom or another loved one? Whether it’s antique or not, it’s something you know you’ll pass on? Well, I generally weigh jewelry (and handbag) purchases based on their long-term potential. The jewelry I love and value the most are pieces I’ve inherited from my grandma and mom, so I cross my fingers that my future daughter will love what I have. I can only hope, right?!
