I’ve been so excited for this post! All of my fellow London lovers will understand my excitement and obsession with the current Nordstrom Pop-In. Liberty London is currently available stateside, which is basically the best thing since Nando’s coming to America. The Flowers of Liberty collection showcases three iconic prints that are gorgeous! July 5th is sort of a sad day for me. I look forward to the 4th so much that the day after is rather depressing. This year I tried to make the very most of the day! I tried not to get worked up by the terrible drivers or unbearable heat, but instead, tried to remember the significance of the day and all the things I have to be grateful for.

We started the day with Bella nearly passing out from fear (or was it anger?). The terror-inducing boy scouts were up early placing flags in all the yards. Our fierce guard dog was not a fan. After vain attempts to calm her, we eventually fell back asleep for another hour or so. We woke up, had festive waffles and battled over whether Independence Day or The Patriot was more appropriate for the day. After a relaxing day, we got ready and headed down to Stadium of Fire. We danced the night away to Journey and made it home in record time afterward! All in all, it was one of the best days. I can’t wait for next year!

I love our anniversary. I love remembering that perfect June day celebrating with all of our family and friends! I really love remembering every detail of my ensemble. Why can’t buying beautiful dresses be a normal, everyday event? But most importantly, it’s another reminder of how very grateful I am that he’s stuck with me for another year 😉 Husband is the most patient, thoughtful, hilarious guy I know. I’m so happy we’re together forever! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for our little family. Happy Anniversary love!

Maxi Dress || Denim Jacket

Going through vacation pictures is one of those tasks that’s both entertaining and depressing. Sure you get to re-live all those moments that were obviously worth capturing, but then you remember that you’re no longer at the beach or eating Mickey-shaped ice cream! Our recent trip to Newport was perfect! We went with one of our very best couple friends and were able to do (and eat) everything we wanted. Plus, it gave us a chance to wear all our new vacation clothes, including this maxi, which is an absolute dream come true. It’s perfect as a beach cover up or a day of shopping (trust me…I used it for both!) and doesn’t take up tons of space in your suitcase. Yup. It’s the perfect thing to take on a trip!
