Happy end of December! I hope you all had a beyond wonderful Christmas and were able to spend lots of time with family and friends. I was finally able to look through all of my London photos and even edit a few! This trip was certainly one to remember and I’m so grateful for my marvelous parents for making it all possible.

Our first day was amazing! We battled jet lag to the bitter end and packed our day to avoid the comfy hotel beds. We started by visiting the LSE (where I got my Master’s), so my parents could see exactly where I studied and overcame numerous exam-induced panic attacks. We hopped on a bus toward the Tower and spent the rest of our daylight there. My parents seem to have loved it! It’s one of my favorite places in the city, so I was quite pleased with this. We then wandered to Harrods for dinner and well, general jaw-dropping moments. Since I’m a really nice wife, I bought my Christmas bear and saved my cool husband lots of money in shipping and such. I’m thoughtful that way. All in all, London Day 1 was the very definition of success.

I’ve been having such a tough time thinking of gifts for Jack this year! He’s hinted (quite heavily I might add) about a few things, but I’m a firm believer in at least two surprise gifts. I’ve thought of several things he’s loved this year and thought I’d share! Blu-rays are always welcomed with open arms, but there have been sooo many good TV series lately too (hello, How to Get Away with Murder) that it’d be fun to own several series.

We’re both big fans of traveling and love heading out for the weekend. I love my Longchamp, but Jack could honestly care less what he carries. I found several Hershel duffels that are convenient and stylish—I love the bold red and navy. The coordinating toiletry kit would be perfect paired with a Kiehl’s starter kit. Such an easy gift! And if your guy is a fan as well, this set is a stellar deal during the holidays.

My final suggestion? The Converse! There’s really no need to talk up these guys. Certain styles are 2 for $75 at Nordstrom right now too! #win

Hello! We had the absolute best time shooting our Christmas card photos with Rebekah Westover last weekend! She did our wedding photos and we adore her! Our only complaint? Our fur baby. Seriously. She was outrageous. I understand that it was the forest and there were a million distracting smells, but she wriggled loose from her collar and ran like she’d been imprisoned for decades. It was simultaneously hilarious and annoying!

Styling this shoot was so much fun! It’s wonderful to be able to tell people what to wear without any complaints. I was basically Anna Wintour for a day.
