Is there anything better than Harry Potter? Nope. There’s not. I had been dreaming of this day since I was basically 13 when I said, “There needs to be a Harry Potter theme park.” I’m basically taking 80% of the credit with 0% of the compensation. Back to our days at the park! They were two perfect, calorie-filled days.
My sweet mother-in-law decided that we needed a girls’ trip and we were quick to say yes! We had all been dying to visit the park together and compare our previous Butterbeer experiences. Once we walked in to the park, we headed straight for the Harry Potter portion. We had just had a quick breakfast, but needed to cap it off with a glass of Butterbeer deliciousness. Little did we know that it would be the first of three glasses for the day!
We spent most of our time planning our meals and treats, but we ended up having the following top 5 attractions. Some of them are classic, but some were new favorites!
- Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (the ride inside the castle facade)
- Flight of the Hippogriff!
- Revenge of the Mummy Ride (we literally rode this 7 times)
- The Studio Tour (such a classic!)
- The Animal Actor’s show (don’t miss this! It’s truly hilarious and you get to see cute, furry actors)
P.S. If you’re a Costco member, definitely get the annual pass. There are very few blackout days and you can go throughout the year! For example, on your next trip, you can run in to the park for the sole purpose of buying Butterbeer for everyone…not that I did that or anything. And guess what? You can even hop on a quick ride and the people waiting for you in the car will never know! But who would do such a thing, right? 😉
